A professional 15-piece Chinese Calligraphy Master Class Kit, including:
- Two handmade Chinese calligraphy brushes
- A porcelain desk set: ink dish, brush rest, brush holder and water dropper

A personalised 1:1 introductory lesson — after booking, your first session takes place individually, allowing us to better understand your level, needs and learning goals.
Small-group sessions thereafter — following your first lesson, you will join an intimate group where you can continue developing your skills through regular practice.
A personalised learning plan — each participant receives an individual learning path tailored to their level, goals and pace of progress.
Flexible scheduling — session times can be adapted to your availability, making it easier to incorporate calligraphy into your weekly routine.

Duration: 10 sessions, 1.5 hours each (Total: 15 hours)

Location: Mokotów, Warsaw

Schedule: Weekly sessions (Tue: 17:00 -18:30)

Price: 2680 PLN per person (includes all materials)

About the Instructor

Chinese calligraphy workshops for beginners are my speciality, and as your instructor, I’ll guide you on this artistic journey.

I am Yating — a creative producer who has lived in Poland for six years. I began learning Chinese calligraphy in the style of regular script when I was 7 years old, and those strict early lessons remain my most profound artistic influence.

Two years ago, when a friend asked about Chinese calligraphy and how to hold the brush, the idea for these workshops first took root. Now I’m happy to share this art with you.

Whether you seek a creative discipline, a mindful pause, or simply a new way to connect with this cultural experience, I’ll be beside you for every stroke.

Is Chinese calligraphy suitable for beginners?

Yes. The classes are designed for people who have never tried Chinese calligraphy before. No prior experience or knowledge of Chinese is required. You learn step by step, at a pace and level tailored to you.

Where do the Chinese calligraphy classes in Warsaw take place?

Classes are held in person in Mokotów,Warsaw.

How many people are in each session?

Classes run in small groups of 2–3 people. This means every participant gets plenty of individual attention and can work according to their own learning plan.

Do I need to know Chinese to start?

No. Knowledge of Chinese is not required. In class we focus primarily on brush technique, character structure, rhythm, and the aesthetics of Chinese calligraphy.

What do I need to bring to the first class?

You don't need to bring any materials of your own. The course includes a professional 15-piece Chinese calligraphy set that you use during the lessons and take home with you.

How often are the classes?

The course covers 10 weeks of regular practice, with one class per week. After booking, your first session is one-on-one, and afterwards you join the small group. Class times can be flexibly adjusted to your availability.

What if I can't make one of the sessions?

Just let us know at least 24 hours in advance and we'll do our best to reschedule your session to another convenient time, subject to availability. A no-show without at least 24 hours' notice counts as a completed session.
