Quick Dive by Linmo Studio is a 3-hour experience where language, brush, and tradition come together. No Chinese needed — just curiosity.
Chinese calligraphy has evolved over 3,000 years — yet each stroke still echoes the past. You’ll learn how symbols once carved on bone became flowing lines of personal expression.
Choose a word or symbol that means something to you — peace, energy, your name. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have hand-written it on a scroll or fan to take home. A personal piece of culture, made by you.
This class is taught entirely in English. All materials and instructions are designed for beginners — no language skills or art background needed. Just come with curiosity and leave with something meaningful.

The workshops run on weekdays from 18:00 – 21:00. and on Saturdays from 13:00 – 16:00.

Chinese calligraphy workshops for beginners are my speciality, and as your instructor, I’ll guide you on this artistic journey.
I am Yating — a creative producer who has lived in Poland for six years. I began learning Chinese calligraphy in the style of regular script when I was 7 years old, and those strict early lessons remain my most profound artistic influence.
Two years ago, when a friend asked about Chinese calligraphy and how to hold the brush, the idea for these workshops first took root. Now I’m happy to share this art with you.
Whether you seek a creative discipline, a mindful pause, or simply a new way to connect with this cultural experience, I’ll be beside you for every stroke.

You don’t need to prepare anything. All materials are provided: brush, ink, paper, and inkstone—just bring yourself and an open mind.

Unfortunately, not at the moment. At Linmo, our calligraphy workshops are currently conducted only in English or Chinese, but we’re working on adding Polish-language sessions in the near future—watch this space!
